Flight pour at Quinpool taproom. Pours clear blonde with white head. Aroma has straw and pale malts. Flavour has straw and cracker malts. A touch skunky. Could be worse.

Flight pour at Quinpool taproom. Pours black with tan head. Aroma has rich roasted malts, though somewhat subtle. Flavour has solid roasted malt profile, some espresso, nice depth. Rich and malty. Very nice malt-forward imperial stout.

A tap pour from Henry House in Halifax earlier in our ongoing holiday with Brit friends Frank and Jean. The appearance was cloudy orange with a consistent cover of off-white foam. I tasted orange rind, grain, some maltiness and a bit of pineapple with its accompanying sweetness. An all right NE style IPA.

Poured from the tap @ Propeller. Clear yellow with small white head. Lots of coffee, feint cocoa nib underlay. Quite nice white stout.

Poured from the tap @ Propeller. Clear gold with small white head. Heavy on the nutmeg and clove, verges on overpowering, but a nice change from typical pumpkin spice beers and not too bland. Good pumpkin beer.

Draft at restaurant in Peggy’s Cove. Gold pour and sudsy head. Nose is spicy herbal hops. Tatses of pine, grapefruit, herbal and floral. Light bodied. Happy to try and paired with seafood chowder

473mL can. Pours black with small beige head. Aroma has very toasty malt and cocoa. Flavour has toasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of pine. Good stout.

Flight at brewery. Pours clear golden. Aroma has clear pine and some candied orange. Flavour is quite resinous with some sticky malts and a bit of orange peel. A bit unelegant, but good beer.
