Roast and light caramel. Black pour with good initial head. Bitter end. Light coffee. Pretty easy drinking, and goes down better at an airport bar that plays Queen Latifah then Neil Young back to back. Bottle and beef and liberty.

12/1/2020. Sample, from tap, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours cloudy pale orange gold with a nice size off-white head. Aroma of citrus, hops and unripened tropical fruits with light piney and grassy notes. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness and light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation.

Tap at Beef & Liberty, Hong Kong Airport 22nd December 2019. Slightly hazy orange-yellow gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of caramel, fruity, citrusy hops. Taste is malt caramel with tropical fruity mango, citrus, pine and hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Opened with a bang. Cloudy gold with a growing white head. Lots of passionfuit, some mango, wheaty crackers. Light bodied, spirtzy. Slightly astringent passionfruit, mildly sour underlying beer with a little bitterness [edit - it builds a bit] at the end. That Dubbin-like mango at the end. Refreshing hot weather drop.

Bottle at Paus, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy light amber colour with a big, lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light lemon lime citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, malt, fruity, light metallic hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation.
