Can at Kanada Ya restaurant in Ealing, London. A golden coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Vague, herbal, rice, corn, floral taste. Basic rice lager that actually goes quite well with Japanese food.

Bright, relatively dark amber colour. Medium head. There's lots of caramel malt notes. Not sure, maybe a hibiscusy kind of note, but that could be the power of floral suggestion at work. Sweetish character. Similar vague floral note on the palate. It's okay. Good body for the style. Maybe a bit too macro-vienna for me overall.

Poured from 350mL can (bb 26.04.13; pkg 25.04.14). Clear medium dark amber brown with small beige head. Light bread crusts, dark sugars and feint caramel malt. Serviceable macro.

Can. Clear gold, a cm of white head. Gentle citrus and light bread aroma. More forthright citrus in the taste with the hops and juice blending pretty nicely. Plainish malt, decent bitterness. Solid enough.

Can. Pretty much clear golden amber with a cm of loosish white head. Aroma of doughy bread, apricots, spices. Dryer than expected with crackery bread, bubblegum and a nicely punchy spicy end. Refreshing.

Can in Okinawa.
Pours clear light golden with a medium sized white head that dissipates quickly, some lacing. Grainy malts, grassy, straw, honey.
Ok. Crisp, light and easy to drink.

12/3/2026. Can shared by Gus, cheers. Bought in London. Brewed at St. Peter’s Brewery, Suffolk. Pours fine. Musty citrus aroma. Caramel. Odd sourdough taste. Not nice. Was this what the Japanese intended by getting this brewed in Suffolk?
