Can from a Lawson’s on Kokusai dori in Naha. Wow, what a contrast to regular Orion! Medium golden color. Nice, bold Saaz-like noble hop aroma, lemony, grassy. Hoppy, lemony flavor, crisp and tasty with bready malts. Tasty malts, light but not thin. A damn good major lager.

Tap in Naha. Almost no nose to speak of. Light grain and a tiny bit of citrus. Pale golden color. Light, thin, and watery flavor. Almost no flavor either. Not bad, just almost tastes like water. Bit of malt and grain and a tiny bit of bitterness.

"w zapachu słody, lekkie zioła, trawa i kanał. kolor złoty, piana brzydka i bardzo szybko znika. w smaku puste, wodniste, z lekką i niezbyt przyjemną goryczką. trochę posmaku witaminy c. średnie nasycenie. lekki posmak pestek z jabłka. jedno z tych piw które są pijalne tylko zimne.

35 cl can from Wellcome in Hong Kong, i think 4.5% to 5.5% ABV, can’t understand exacly what it says. Clear light yellow color, big bubbly white head. Aroma is uncertain, with some sugary grains, apple, alcohol and cardboard, metallic bitterness. Light body, dusty finish.

Can (Tokyo). Clear golden-amber color, small steady white head. Aroma has light sweet fruity maltyness. Medium-bodied. Quite good maltyness for a bulk lager, but otherwise can’t agree earlier ratings. Sweetish rice, grain flavor. Not much bitterness. Even some nasty adjunct notes. Meh.

35cl can sixpack at Wellcome in Hong Kong. Very nice design, 590 HK$, 5.5%. Dark gold color, clear, big bubbly white head. Nose is somewhat hoppy. Aroma is refreshing, focusing on flowery hops, sort of american hop, floral, honey. Mild malts, rice, soapy overtones. Taste is sweetish with a bitter finish, texture tend to be oily, medium bodied. Actually, nice.

35cl can from a market in Causeway Bay Hong Kong, nice design, 5%. Clear light gold, short white head. Nothing particular on the nose. Aroma is slightly malty with a focus on hops, flowery hops, straw, hints of honey. Taste is fairly bitter, finish is dry, crisp. Tastes like a pilsener.

Clear golden coloured body with a very thin white head, only about a centimetre tall, but pure white. Aroma of rice, alcohol, malt and not much else - fairly mild. Light-bodied; Strong rice and light grain flavours with hints of lemons and alcohol, but very light and showing no assertive aftertaste or funk at all. Aftertaste shows only a handful of rice and lemon characteristics with nothing else bad. Overall, a surprisingly decent lager with some lighter notes for beating this heat and some subdued lemon flavours for the refreshing qualities. I sampled this 33 cL can purchased from City’Super! in Harbour City, Kowloon, Hong Kong on 04-July-2014 for HK$15,00 sampled a bit later in my hotel room here in Wan Chai, Hong Kong on 04-July-2014.
