(Can) Pours cloudy deep amber brown with good dense off-white head. Nice aroma - pine with grapefruit hints. Medium body, plenty of good carbonation giving a nice smooth mouthfeel. Great tasting too - a nice balance of plenty of hops and a rich toffee malt. Good bitter finish. Nice beer.

From a 375ml can on 19/11/2019. Pours a clear light golden with a medium head. Has a light spicy, slightly yeasty nose. The flavour features pear and banana, spice and yeast, with a mild bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I'm generally no fan of saisons but this is truly excellent. Subtle yet complex, with everything in tremendous balance. A delightful surprise.

From a 375ml can on 3/11/2019. Pours a clear medium golden with a small head. Has a a fairly sharp citric nose. The flavour is as promised - big dashes of blood orange and vanilla, finished off by a quite sharp and reasonably assertive, lingering and slightly medicinal bitterness. The problem is that the various elements don't really seem to fit particularly well together. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not altogether without merit, and can see it could work for some, but it's not for me. And to be fair, kolsches are not really my thing.

From a 375ml can on 22/9/2019 (shared with Butz). Pours an opaque deep golden with a small to medium head. Has a mild fruity hoppy nose. Tastes of modestly sweet biscuit malt and citrus fruit, with a medium, slightly spicy rye bitterness at the back. Medium bodied with moderate to average carbonation. Doesn't push the envelope but pretty good.

From a 375ml can on 16/6/2019. Pours a super deep dark red with a smallish head, but could easily be mistaken for a stout. The nose is much like the double - lots a caramel and toffee malt aroma with stewed fruit, but it's perhaps a touch more intense. It's pretty much the same with the taste - caramel, toffee, brown sugar, dark and dried fruit, some citrus and stone fruit, with big piney, resiny and slightly spicy hops at the back. But just a bit bigger and more intense, with a dash of warming booze in the background. The palate is thick, quite syrupy and full bodied, the carbonation moderate. Not a beer for the faint hearted, but a really complex and very rewarding big sipper. All versions of the Six String Dark Red are excellent.

Can. Oily black, no head. Burnt caramel nose. A little thinner than expected. Licorice, roasted malts, and chocolate. Not sweet. Very good but not outstanding.

375ml can into shaker. Amber beer, slight haze, disappearing head, light carbonation. Very faint aroma, perhaps bubblegum and a little yeast. Sparkly in the mouth. Taste is tart and fruity, finish is sour and yeasty. Peaches linger late on. It certainly is refreshing and easy-drinking but it looks like a week old urine sample.

Recommended song- Angela's Dish 'Crash'.

375ml can into schooner glass. Pours a golden amber with a collapsing white frothy head. Nose is faint chocolate. Slight haze, high fine carbonation. Some lacing. Good body, sharp carbonation. The taste and finish are best described as 'smoky fruity chocolate'. Enjoyable, a little bit sweeter and more subdued than other smoked beers I've tried.
