From a 500ml can on 24/9/2017 (shared with Butz).Pours a deep brown with a medium head. Has a mild coffee nose with some light roasted malt.In the mouth, there's good dash of coffee, some dark chocolate and roasted malt. Not overly sweet with a mild bitterness. A solid, enjoyable coffee stout.

From a 375ml can on 6/9/2017. Pours a cloudy dark red amber with a small to medium head. Has a quite a strong aroma of caramel and stewed fruit. In the mouth, there's lots of caramel and brown sugar, sweet citrus and stone fruit (orange, peach), pine and resin. The hops are huge and coat the tongue, balancing the pronounced syrupy sweetness. The palate is slick, creamy and full bodied, with moderate carbonation. I like really rate their standard Dark Red IPA, but this is something else. A wonderful, intense, cohesive and complex brew. Sensational stuff.

(On tap) Clear yellow amber with slight white head. Pleasant aroma - lemon with slight floral and pepper notes. Light bodied with nice carbonation. Nice fruity floral notes balancing light biscuit malt at start with some pleasant bitterness in finish. Some slightly off yoghurt notes in the background. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml can into pint glass. Can is reminiscent of ’Modus Operandi’ cans like Supergrass’ ’Kiss of Life’ is reminiscent of Talking Heads’ ’Cross-eyed and Painless’ (or ’Back in the USSR’ is reminiscent of The Beach Boys). Anyway, back to the beer.....Pours a sun-burnt golden amber with a diminishing white head. Light carbonation. Light malty nose. Zingy in the mouth, light and clean. Good depth. Finish is smoky caramel with light lemon bitterness. It’s good not great.

Big can (I assume 500ml) into shaker. 5%. Coffee, coffee, coffee nose. Black as obsidian with a thin lasting head. Medium body with coffee flavour. Finish is coffee. Unfortunately I don’t like the taste of coffee so as well-made as this beer is, to me it’s like drinking a cold glass of coffee.

375ml can into schooner glass. The first beer I’ve seen that describes itself as a PALE lager. Nose is quite distant, a few hops, a little pepper, some malty bread. Thin creamy white head, cloudy amber with a clutch of tiny bubbles. Full-bodied and malty, finish is short with a slight fruity bitterness. Simple tasty quaffer.

On tap at Six String, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of dark fruits and caramel. Flavour is rich and syrupy, with toffee, caramel and dark fruits. Viscous and strong, but not cloying. Very nice stuff.

On tap at Six String, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite sweet, with bubblegum gum, candied sugar, Belgian yeast and resinous hops. Flavour is intense, with sweet cotton candy notes, lots of booze, caramel malt and resinous hops. Pretty abrasive but in a nice way. Enjoyable in small doses.

On tap at Six String, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is very bland, with toasted bready notes. Flavour is quite malty, with toasted bready notes, caramel and toasted nuts. Nothing special, but it's okay.
