Can. Another Lion brand that’s not bothered to say where it’s brewed. Very pale orange with a brief white head. Aroma of whisky - can at least says flavoured with it rather than aged in a Starward barrel - , lemon, somewhat tangy wheat. Tart, lemony. Perhaps a little watery, but tasty and is what it promises.

Can, 7.3% ABV. Ooh, another Lion brand beer brewed around Australia. Gosh, I wonder what comes next. Should declare my prior on this one: there's a student party at your place and something must be provided for the impecunious and those trots who won't BYO on principle: sangria is how you stretch a bottle of cheap red to do the job. To assuage my discomfort at a lack of good faith I pour it into a Rodenbach Grand Cru glass. Somewhat murky pale reddish brown with no head. Aroma of oranges, oaked red wine, nutmeg. Thinnish, low carbonation. Barely sweet with light bread, lots of red wine, a little citrus peel. Spices get a bit lost. Dry and oaky at the end. It's OK but I don't really see the point.

Can. Orange with a brief white head. 3- Funky grapey aroma with lime, crackers, some almonds. A bit more than light bodied. Sour but not completely dry with grapey sweetness and an oaky finish. Quite complex and interesting but not as easy drinking as I'd like for a Berliner Weisse.

Can. Almost clear gold with a lasting white head. Aroma of peach, old and fresh Meyer lemons, touch of Dubbin. Light bodied. Moderately sour with citrus, tone a bit of tropical fruit before a slightly bitter minerally finish. Solid beer.

Can. Pale gold with a large albeit collapsing white head. Aroma of mandarins, tropical bubblegum, crackers, hints of beries. Light bodied but perhaps less so than you'd guess. Medium high carbonation. Clean crackery malt with fruity hops. Clean bitter finish. Good.

Whiteish yellow with good foam, nice floral hop notes on the nose. Flavour is bright wheat notes and perfumy hops. Full on the mouth. Reasonably tasty, adequate for the style.

From a 750ml bottle on 10/7/2019 (shared by Desmond with thanks). Pours a reddy brown with a small head. The nose features berries and a touch of bourbon. The flavour is relatively delicate - cherries and berries, with a moderate tartness and some oak in the background. Lightish body and average carbonation. Just okay and would not revisit.

Half pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Brown beer with a thin white head. Nose is wood, cherries, bourbon? Flat mouthfeel but surprisingly viscous. Taste is light berries. Finish has some sweetness mixed in with the sour. Really good.

Tap @ GABS. As usual from White Rabbit, an unassuming number. But hit the right notes for me: Grapefruit peel - intense but civil - no sourness, very clean damper-like malt, very dry somewhat woody finish with more citrus but little bitterness. Elegant.
