(Can) Pours clear pale gold with no head. Aroma is odd and not very pleasant - damp cardboard, hints of hot engine. Light bodied and fizzy. Start is nice lemon citrus tartness, although not very tart, with some acetic notes. There’s some bread and hints of bubblegum in the mid palate. And a tart finish. It’s odd, and not in a very good way.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has peaches, lemons, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Can. Very pale orange with a wisp of white head. 3- Funky wheaty aroma with apricots and old lemons. Barely sour and not dry. Slightly slippery. Underwhelming.

Can (first I've seen from White Rabbit). 10C. Deep gold with a fat coat of white head. Aroma of spiced and honey dough, oranges, a hint of pine. 7+ Just medium bodied, carbonation is on the high side of medium. Bittersweet with oranges and clovey dough. Kind of rough bitter finish with a touch of metal as well as resin and spices. Tasty but crude.

Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Very pale amber beer with thin white head. Nose is light fruit with a little sourness. (Comes paired with chocolate!) Starts like a bitter lemon mixer then in kicks the yeasty, fruity finish. Really refreshing, easy-drinking and, yes, nice with some dark chocolate.

(Bottle) Pours black brown with ruby highlights and a tawny head. Nice aroma - chocolate, toasted malt. Medium body, slight stickiness and nice bright and creamy carbonation. Taste is sweetish, chocolatey with some balancing berry and raisin fruitiness. Very nice

Bottle, 12C. Very dark brown with a tan head that's soon a coat. Aroma of chocolate brioche, hazelnuts, vanilla-ish oak. Light bodied with low carbonation - smooth, but too thin to be silky. Not much sweetness but plenty of chocolate. Vanilla, pepper and slightly astringent oaky finish. An interesting one with an engaging and unusual way of achieving balance. I liked it but (not for the first time with White Rabbit) felt it needed a bit more grunt. Oddly, would go _really_ well with braised rabbit. [3.4]And so it proves -- fresh pappardelle with rabbit, thyme and mustard. +.1

Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Pale amber beer with thin foamy white head. High carbonation. Nose is sweet bubblegum, yeast, wood shavings. But subdued. Medium body. Lightly bitter and spritzy. Finish is long, doughy, tangy and sour. Ticks all the 'farmhouse' boxes.

Tap at the Great Northern Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, biscuit dough, fresh crisp cucumber melon. The flavour is light sour with a slightly watery grainy malt, light fresh fruity palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Light but fresh and surprisingly with a little backbone. A fine summer session beer. Serve cool.
