Can. A tad hazy amber with a near inch of rocky white head. Aroma of oranges, some grapefruit, bread, light herbal and pine notes. Fairly dry with - surprise - loads of citrus. Clean and perhaps just lacking enough support for the hops. Bitterness is medium high.

Terrible looker in the glass. Aromas of pine, peach, honey and biscuit. Less complex on tasting. Citra is a pretty complex hop, but still not complex enough to turn a single hop beer into something I really enjoy.

500ml can. Pour black. Dry cocoa nose with some raspberry cordial. Bit of vanilla in flavour too. This is all a bit too candy-ish, with nothing cakey and no real oomph. More like a stout that someone added flavouring to.

On tap. Very drak brown. Bacon nose, but relatively subtle. A little bit of choc flavour, more tobacco, and appropriate smokiness. This is a beer style I love, and this is well executed.

Can. Just unclear gold with a white head. 3+ Aroma of peach, pineapple, pine, some mandarin. Floaty. Fruity and moderately sweet with aromatics well integrated for something triple dry hopped. Gradually resin grips and seems spicy as well as bitter towards the end. Very good.

Can, as Torquay XPA. Just hazy gold with a loose cm of white head. Vibrant citrus aroma - Enigma? - with some crackers and passionfruit. Light bodied, highish carbonation. Dryish with Meyer lemon, honeydew melon, passionfruit over light crackery malt. Medium high bitterness. Right up my street. Will be a regular.

From a 500ml can on 12/9/2020 (shared with Butz). Pours not far off black with a smallish head. Both the nose and taste feature lost of raspberry against a chocolate background. While quite sweet upfront, it dishes out quite a strong roasty, and ever so slightly sour, which takes away from its pastry nature and the overall experience. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Interesting but didn't quite win me over.

Can. Somewhat hazy gold with a fading white head. Aroma is a bit Reef Oil with coconut, menthol and mandarins. Less so in taste with a dryish and moderately bitter finish. Sabro as a single hop not as good as the others (so far) by some distance.

Can. Slightly opaque gold. Tropical nose. Some coconut on top in terms of flavour. Much less of a punch than I expected. Thought there would be a lot more coconut. Still very drinkable.
