From a 500ml can on 8/4/2019. Pours a clear medium golden with a smallish head. Has a mild herbal, fruity nose. In the mouth, it's really sweet, with lots of pineapple, mango some light caramel, with a slightly sharp, pretty firm, resiny hop bitterness finishing of proceedings. The texture is slightly syrupy and the carbonation moderate. It's intense and flavoursome, but a little bit too cloying and lacking in balance to really impress.

Can. Clear amber with nearly an inch of white head. Aroma of kumquats, mango skin, pine, a little bread crust. Some grapefruit and herbs. Brooding. Only a little more than medium bodied, carbonation is on the low side of moderate. Very sweet but so clean it doesn't feel heavy (bit of a Kaiju signature, that). It's rather less resinous than I'd have guessed, so that whilst there's burst of citrus and tropical fruit it yields gently to a long and fairly bitter finish rather than the piney blast I was expecting from the aroma. But that's fine. Good stuff.

Pint on tap at brewery. Clear golden amber beer with solid foamy white head. High carbonation. Nose is sweet, malty, yeasty. Full-bodied with initial maltiness. Finish is floral and perfumed, really reminiscent of musk sticks. Easy-drinking and fun.

Pint on tap at brewery. Red/brown beer with thin white head. High carbonation. Nose is smoky malt and slight hoppy sourness. Refreshing and spritzy at first with lots of caramel and dark fruits in the finish. Fascinating take on a marzen. Really delicious but quite rich for a scorching hot Brisbane day!

Christmas gift from Australia! Clear pale gold with an eggshell white head that leaves great lacing behind. The aroma is really nice citrus/lightly tropical bouquet. Light bodied and citrusy pine with a green herbal hoppiness. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint on tap at Surfers Sandbar, QLD. Hazy golden beer with foamy white head. Aroma of salted caramel, smelly socks, burnt wood, doughnuts. Amazing nose! Full-bodied and viscous. Flavour is bitter woodland. Finish is earthy, minty, manky, herbal, grassy. Alcohol is noticeable but not overly. Complex and contemplative, with a new hop. A beer geek special. Excellent.

Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Cloudy brown beer with solid white head. Looks like traditional English bitter. Smells like malt biscuits.
Smoky toffee flavour, full-bodied. Finish has subdued pine and nuts. Quality beer, well made and beautifully balanced.
