Draught at Newstead Brewery, Brisbane on 6th September 2015 with fellow RateBeerian Nateg2. Yellow-amber with off white ring-and-film; no lacing. Malt and cheesy hop aroma. Rounded in-mouth with cheesy notes, touch of phenol and fine malts. A lingering bitter finish with emerging grass. Engaging texture and full body.

From bottle. Citrus aromas with hint of biscuit. Pours slightly hazy golden. More malty than I expected making for a full-bodied IPA. Hops could be bolder.

Schooner on tap @ Pigs & Pints. Smoky malt nose, gorgeous bronze colour. Small head, medium carbonation. Flat mouthfeel. Taste is smoky, hoppy, grainy. Finish is grainy, dark malts, dried raisins. True to style, very nice.

Schooner on tap @ Pigs & Pints. Inviting fruit hop nose. Clear golden beer with thin head. Light carbonation. Oily texture, hints of passion fruit and mango in the taste. Finish is juicy grapefruit that lingers. Superb, refreshing and moreish.
