Bottle, 11C. Amber with a near white head. Aroma of toffee, peach, biscuit, kumquats, pine needles. Fairly light bodied, creamy texture. Sweet with more peach, less caramel and biscuit and a lot more citrus than suggested by the aroma. Still pretty sweet at the end and the bitterness doesn’t cut through quite enough for me. Maybe a little colder would have been better. Not bad at all.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Fresh floral hoppy/caramel nose. Amber beer with solid foamy white head. Light carbonation. Light spritzy mouthfeel. Finish is watery with touches of floral hops, lemon and toffee. Excellent, especially for 3.4%.

Tap at the Jetty Southbank, Brisbane. Pours clear golden. Hints of hops in the aroma, clearly more than I expected from the looks of it. The taste contains everything you would want from a light beer, a bit of hops and bitterness here, a bit of malts and sweetness there. A good summer beer.

This low-carbonated beer has aromas as boiled lollies, lemon, talc and pine needles. The sweet malt comes through in the mouth, but it’s nicely balanced with some slightly bitter hops with a lemon aftertaste. A good pale ale.
