Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#39. GOREY. Last beer of the day on Jersey back at the accommodation. Golden colour with a decent depth to its texture. Fairly standard hoppy taste with a few sugars, but a good one.

Can from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Opaque amber. Thick but delicate looking foamy white head. I would say this does have an English near to it: a litbof caramel and biscuit malty sweetness. A sour edge, citrusy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation with a gentle fizz. Long dry slightly astringent finish. It's nice enough but too sweet for me to want to drink another.

Bottle from winter mixer 6er. Hazy amber pour, small white head. Light grassy aroma, lots of sweet caramel malts. Low carb, soft mouth feel. Finish is sweet, hops are gone. Boring.

Nothing mind blowing, buy quite pleasant. Some nice nutty notes, solid malts, and nice toffee, caramel finish. Decent.

This is nothing but beer pop. The base Weisse is nowhere to be found. All there is, is an overly sweet, cloying, artificial peach/apricot aroma and flavor. The beer tastes just like peach hard candies you get with your cheque at a restaurant. Not my bag.

On tap at the comedy bar waiting for Jimmy Pardo.
Clear pale golden pour, small white head. Aroma of cheap grains, corn, and cooked veggies. Low carb, watery mouthfeel. Grassy, corny finish. Pretty bad.

Typical canadian take on any style pale ale. Minimal hops, sweet malts, and little to no bitterness, cause really who wants to taste beer!?

Jet black, quickly dissipating tan head. Aroma of Cinnamon, ripe fruit, and sweet malt. Flavour is full of sweetness, and a touch of smoke, a little bit of booze, but nothing i would consider a draw back. Mouthfell is velvet, this goes down so nice! excellent porter!

330ml can from Dunells in Jersey. Pours a light brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of red fruits, caramel, bread & malt. Medium body. Moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable

355 ml can. Pours a copper color with moderate head. Aromas of sweet caramel, grass and bready malts. Flavors of wet toasted malts. Homebrew meets high volume. Not bad if the former and easy to pound. A beer for sporting events.
