Honey and dandelion bouquet. Clear yellow medium head. Dry lilly, lemongrass, cream soda highlights. Light body, moderate carbonation. Much too dry, but interesting.

Can ordered from Tap Door website. Aroma had chewy doughy malts and light sour citrus edge. Opaque light gold. Thick foamy white head. My first impressions of the flavour are of how sweet it is. Sugary. Doughy. Light citrus. Ever so slightly metallic streak, more so into the finish where the cities sourness also becomes more prevalent. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation certainly provides lift. Long finish, a tad dry. Nice. Verging on too sweet for me but a Golden Ale that doesn't feel uninspired and intentionally bland.

Big pounder 16 oz can. Pour is hazy somewhat pale, with a rocky fading foamy head. Nose is mild sweet off hop IPA. First big taste is big fat hops all the way. Yes, terribly on style IPA. Looks like cloudy IPA, smells like IPA, tastes like IPA, must be IPA? Just asking. What is the candy thing all about? No sense of candy here. It's simply a common flat mouth coating IPA, like any other of the gahzillion common IPA out there, they all taste the same. Why rename it? Can't understand. Just a stupid name for this, JMHO. Candy Mountain and its available mountain candy is a land of sweets and joy and joyness, and sugary goodness. Officially the Leoplurotenter in the cave will lure you towards them and you will lose your kidneys! That's what you are getting with this IPA. The loss of yer kidneys, heheehhhehh.

Big $3 pounder can. Initial pour is off pale and clear with a white head, but then it gets cloudy near the bottom of the can. Probably should have swirled this before I poured? Nose is somewhat coffee. First big swig is certainly coffee, with a hefty does of pumpkin spice. Makes me think about big coffee flavored with pumpkin coffee creamer. Considering the name, I guess this is what its all about? Has decent carbonation. Makes me reminisce about white coffee stouts I've frequently had in the past, hehe. Middle is coffee, yet fading. Towards the end, the pumpkin spice seems to hide in the background and all that's left is some white mild coffee stout.

big pounder can for 3 bucks from from chalet. hazy off pale with a creamy white head, almost milkshake beer to the eye. nose is sweet hop flower perfume, that follows the nose with a little bit of pine odor. was expecting a big fat arrogant hop flavor blast, but up front it initially comes across a little bit mild on the taste buds. it introduces itself as a stronger APA for heavens sake. yes, the hop bitterness is there but its not over the top punching you in the face. juicy? not sure, not mouth coating like most of the so called juicy ipa. yea, getting to the middle, it hides its alky content well, you'd never know this was over 6%. not too sure what to think of this stuff, its certainly a little bitter but at the bottom end of the ipa bitterness scale, even if its that. you know, i hate real IPAs and this stuff goes down pretty easy; i'm thinken a real IPA lover may be disappointed in this. i feel i'm starting to feel a little more easy after I approach the bottom of the can, this is where the 7% really starts to shine thru. good co2 thorough out the session. finding ipas a menace, at least it provides a little mental relief after its consumed. there, you have it.

Tap at the Charlotte airport - clear gold - old school American ipa - clean and dry, with dank hoppiness and potent bitterness - gets a tiny bit abrasive on the back end, but it’s pretty good.

Cocoa, peanut butter nose. Black, thin head. Cocoa, raisin peanut, vanilla. Medium body, easy carbonation. Fair amount of richness and complexity in a beer under 8%.
