on tap at Beergeek Bar, Prague. black color, coffee colored head, smells of sweet chocolate, mulberry, malts, not entirely sure if i like the smell, a bit unpleasant artificial / too dominating sweet. full body, oily texture, tastes of some chocolate, notes of vanilla, sweet malt and light coffee, first sweet which gets replaced by bitter finish, not my thing, tastes too medical for me.

On tap at Fermentoren, Aarhus. An unclear, amber colored beer topped by a nice off-white head leaving some lacings. Sweetish, toffee-ish aroma with a hoppy touch. Orange notes too, both in the aroma and in the flavor. It has a nice bitterness, on a malty, caramel backdrop. It’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated, quite dry on the palate. Lasting finish. A tasteful one, nice and dry, and easy to drink even at 7% ABV. 140804

On tap at Fermentoren, Aarhus. An unclear, amber-colored beer topped by a finger-thick beige head leaving lacings. There’s caramel, nuts, toast and some coffee in the aroma. The flavor has a fine bitterness along with the nuts, caramel and toast found in the aroma. Less on the coffee side. It’s full-bodied and semi-dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Rather meaty flavor, especially towards the end. Guess it needs some food this one, but it’s a fine beer without too. 140804

Light brown color with a minimal and quickly diminishing white head, nice lacework. Aroma has notes of light resins and some caramelish notes. Flavor is caramelish, with good maltiness, resins are present as well. Bittery final with good duration.

On tap at Fermentoren, Aarhus. An unclear, brown to amber beer with a beige colored finger-thick head. The aroma has caramel, roasted malts, some dark dried fruits and some nuttyness. It has a nice bitterness, dealing easily with the malts, not that there’s much sweetness to conquer, but it blends nicely with the lightly roasted, caramel-tasting maltyness. Some nutty hints. Nice carbonation level, and a rather bitter finish. A tasteful and pretty nice beer. 140804

On tap at Fermentoren, Aarhus. An off-white head sits on top of an unclear dark amber body. The aroma has a roasted, toasted maltyness, crystal malts and then the pine cones and resins from the hops show up. It has a nice bitterness on a solid malty backdrop, with roasted notes. Resiny, piney hops. Dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. A nice one indeed, especially like the roasted touch in this one. 140804
