[ As 7venth Sun Brewery / Edge Brewing 7ven Edge Saison ].Unclear medium orange yellow color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, hefe-weizen yeast, yeast, clove, light banana. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, hefe-weizen, yeasty, banana. Body is medium, texture is creamy - watery, carbonation is soft. [20140726]

On tap @ What’s Brewing, Stavanger. Pours dark yellow, with a small creamy head. Aroma is spicy yeast with wooden bretty notes, as well as peach and wooden barrels. Full body with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart with fruity yeast, brett, horseblanket, as well as notes of grain and honey.

Sample on tap at What’s Brewing Beer Festival, Stavanger. ABV 6.9%. Black colour, tan head. Aroma of chocolate and vanilla. The flavour is not too sweet, but has plenty of chocolate and vanilla, also coffee. Some hops in the finish.

Sample on tap at What’s Brewing Beer Festival, Stavanger. 4.7% APA. Amber colour. Woody notes in the aroma, some piney hops. Fairly well balanced flavour, piney and grapefruity hops. Note: Also sampled on tap at the brewery, RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. Hoppy, well balanced. Upping the overall 1 point.

Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, vanilla beans, chocolate, coffee and cocoa. Taste is silky smooth, slightly roasty with loads of vanilla, coffee, chocolate and cocoa notes. Finish is smooth and sweetish with loads of vanilla and chocolate, hints of roastiness. Quite tasty despite the vanilla overdose.

Aroma is quite mellow with vanilla, ash and licorice. Flavour is strong on vanilla. Also some licorice, baking stuff and hints of coffee. A vanilla overdose and I like it. Gets more spicy as it warms up.
