Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before June 2021. Slightly hazy, golden with a white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, spicy and a little herbal aroma of lemon balm, cinnamon and maybe some vanilla. Sweetish, malty, gently fruity, quite herbal-spicy taste of lemon peel, cinnamon, vanilla, some honey and a touch of lemon balm, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently herbal-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting, quite tasty, definitely not a Stout.

Stark vanillig-zimtiger Beginn, Plätzchen. Hell herb, weich malzig, süffig. Insgesamt stark aromatisch und halbwegs rund, weihnachtlich, zum Ende eher trocken. Nett. 9/9/10/10/10/9

Bottle. It pours a dark brown to black body topped by a dense finger thick dark beige head. The aroma is sweetish roasted and licorice-ish, with a light burnt note. A faint boozy touch too. It's full bodied, lightly warming and smooth on the palate, with a light bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, licorice, dark dried fruit notes and a hint of ashtray. Lasting sweet and warning finish. A bit straight forward, but sure nice. 191109

Tap. Pours clear dark amber with a small quickly fizzy offwhite head. Looks like a rum in the glass after a while. Aromas of cookies, malts, cocoa, vanilla, huge oaty note, dark fruits. Taste is about the same. Cookie-like. Oaty, caramel, some chocolate, vanilla, dates.
