Hvilket førsteinntrykk! Nydelig balanse mellom en mørk brown ale (selv sier de porter, men det er litt glidende overgang) og masse nøttekarakter. Hasselnøtter, ifølge kabel. Jeg vil ha oppskrift så jeg kan klone. Etterhvert med litt for mye tre/nøttesmak.

Sampled from the tap at Cocovail Beer Hall. Pours a gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has earthy citrus and light grapefruit with grass and grain underlying. Flavor has grass and citrus with a hint of grapefruit and a grain backbone.

Sampled from the tap at Ølgod. Pours a slightly hazy dull orange with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice citrus and light guava with a sweet grain backbone. Flavor creamy sweet citrus with guava/papaya and a sweet grain note supporting.

Pours rather unclear blonde. Smell is full, tad tart, lemony. Taste is sharp, lemony, not as hoppy as expected. Rather weak base. OK .

Pours rather clear, darker blonde. Smell is sweet, lactose, vanilla, lemon zest is mild, cinnamon is rather hidden. Taste is full, sweet, rather simple base though. Lactose and vanilla pop out, but the beer doesn't seem to have the neccesary base to support them.
