29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Clear golden, very thin, white head. Aroma of apple peel, pear, apricot, yeast, wheat. Taste has sweetish apple & pear, yeast, bitter grass & spices, bit herbal, slightly wheaty. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, lingering spices & apple peel. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Unconvincing, doesn't really deliver.

Due to the import cycle this summery brew was drunk on a relative fine winter day. Edge Piña Colada 6.5% Berliner Weisse Very clear pale gold with a minimal fizzy head. Nice lactic tropical aroma. The light body and silky mouthfeel with a flavor that gives tart tropical fruits and coconut make for a very refreshing drinkable brew. Would have loved to drink it in summer... probably the best expression of coconut I’ve seen in a beer done using just hops.

Semmi hab, fekete szín. Édeskés, hordós, vaníliás, aszalt gyümölcsös illat, némi burbonos beütéssel. Enyhén édeskés, kakós, kávés, fekete csokis, aszalt gyümölcsös ízek, komoly fahordós, vaníliás aromákkal és némi burbonos vonással. Testes, alig szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Finom imperial stout, amit kellemesen feldob a hordós érleleés.

Bottle sourced from Beer Republic - hazed up murky orange with a white head. Medium sweet fruity with some notes of peach and grapefruit, orange, juicy, soft malts, medium body and subdued hoppy into the finish. Not bad but aroma and flavours are slightly muted overall.

29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Clear golden, lasting, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of coconut, lime, pineapple, mango. Taste has tropical sweet pineapple & mandarin, sourish lime with a spicy edge, a bit bready, accents of coconut on top. Floral hoppy finish, a bit piney, lingering pineapple & coconut. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bit gimmicky but not badly executed.

Bottle picked up from Beer Gonzo and consumed at home Attenkirchen Monday 30th December 2019 listening to Marc Riley on 6Music having just eaten home made Schnitzel and chips. Very good beer, a super Impy that isn't full of lactose or unnecessary flavours. Nice and toasty, roasty, bitterness but also dry. Creamy mouthfeel, sweetness but let me say this is not an overly sweet beerm, a little liquorice and dark chocolate. I really like this.
