Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Pours cloudy black with a slowly thinning, frothy, beige head. Aroma of candied date, rum-soaked raisins, chocolate praliné, vanilla, wood, blue plum, green apple, bourbon. Taste is medium to heavy malty sweet, notes of candied date & plum coated in chocolate with a nutty edge, vanilla cream underneath, powdery feel, slight umami, low spiciness. Dry, peppery hoppy finish, lingering vanilla, wood, dark fruits & warming bourbon alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not overly boozy, nicely woody, enjoyable.

330ml bottle. Almost clear golden, white head. Aroma of vanilla, zesty lemon. Taste is pretty sweet, vanilla, lemon zest, cinnamon, malts, moderately bitter finish. Medium-ish body, lactose smoothness. Nice but I don't think the white stout route was necessary, would work better as a proper stout I feel.
