LCI mad flavor forward, mad refreshing.

Crowler from Zillicoah. Pours a clear straw gold with full rocky white head that dissipates, but leaves nice lacing. Great mineral nose with lemon, yogurt and grassy hop aromas. Crisp and clean on the palate. Nice creamy oak-y notes underneath. Smooth finish with some lingering vinous white wine notes. Quite nice!

Crowler from the brewery. 7% abv released in fall 2020. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Bright cantaloupe and wild raspberry aromas dominate the nose. As it warms cherry and citrus notes creep out. Soft mouthfeel on the palate with cherry pit, citrus and tropical fruit. Drying finish. Wonderful stuff from Zillicoah.

Multiple bottles from the brewery. Thanks for muling Jason! Pours a slightly hazy straw gold with a finger of creamy white foam that lingers. Light pepper, grass and mineral aromas on the nose. Great pilsner malt notes on the palate with light cereal grain and more mineral notes. Peppery finish with some herbal noble hop flavors. Clean and snappy bitterness. Amazing.

Tap at Zillicoah Beer Company, Asheville. Coloru is very cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, some tropical fruits, hops and malts. Pretty good! Some herbal elements.

750 ml bottle from Tavour, 3/20/20. Reddish-burnt orange color with a fizzy tan head. Nice earth, dirt, funk thing going on in aroma and flavor. Wood and some tart cherry as well. Pretty funky, fairly acidic. Good mouthfeel, and overall, a good beer. 7/4/8/4/16

Taster at Hops & Pie. Pours a reddish, orange color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is sweet cherries, lime, lavender, and brown sugar. Sweet and fruity, with a lovely, tart flavor. Light to medium body, with a crisp, acidic palate. This is a quality sour.

Crowler shared at Lucy Bamboo. Thanks Zach! Pours a mostly clear orangish gold with a full finger of white foam that lingers. Pungent citrus, pith and zest on the nose with crisp crackery malt. Soft on the palate with some mineral and more pith and pine. Bright notes of citrus fruit and gooseberry linger on the palate. Finish has pithy bitterness and iyokan notes. Dry and balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
