3 week old pint can A: Pours clear deep dark amber to medium brown with 1/2 of tan foam. Good retention and spotty lace. S: Lots of caramel and toasty bread. Some herbal hops manage to come through. T: Quite bitter with pithy lemon or orange citrus joined by toasted bread sweet caramel and lingering wood. Almost roasty. M: Light to medium body, stiffly carbonated with a lightly sticky finish. O: Gizmo has done a nice job with this series and this is no exception. Very good.

3 week old pint can A: Brownish black pour with a big brown head of crackling foam that held up fairly well with spotty lace. S: Heavy on chocolate with a whiff of coffee but no fruit to speak of. T: Bitter roasty chocolate, cocoa and coffee but with a definite sharp, tart berry note cutting through and lingering into an herbal hop finish. M: Medium body, soft carbonation and lightly chewy, ashy texture. O: As much as I hate beers with stuff in them, this is really good.

3 week old pint can A: Poured bright orange gold with a short head of thick white. Decent retention with a thick film and patchy lace left. S: Fresh baked bread, herbs and grain with a hint of lemon. T: Fairly bitter herbal and grassy hops. Lots of biscuit and crackers underneath. Finishes with that touch of lemon citrus from the nose. M: Light but not as light as expected with soft carbonation and a wet lightly resinous finish. O: Very good. Nicely balanced. Worth buying for sure.

2 month old bomber A: Black pour with a thin tan head that fell quickly to a ring. S: Coffee, light roast and toffee. T: Bitter and roasty with strong coffee and burnt ash notes and a bit of tart cherry at the end. M: Low level of crisp carbonation, smooth mouthfeel and ashy finish. O: Good but not great. A bit too much roast for my tastes.

2 month old can A: Deep orange gold pour with a short fluffy head retaining well. S: Light scent of lemon/orange citrus, caramel and bread. T: Tart and bitter citrus and pine with bread and wood. Faint caramel and alcohol join some lingering tropical fruit to finish. M: Medium full body, light carbonation and a smooth fairly dry finish. O: Nicely balanced, tasty and drinkable. Worth trying while still around.

10 week old can A: Brown/black pour with 1/2 of thick dark tan head. Short retention but a lasting ring and leggy lace. S: Sweetish aroma of milk chocolate, cocoa powder and coffee. T: Bitter and roasty with cocoa coming through, providing light sweetness. Faint plummy stone fruit tartness lingers M: Smooth texture, soft but lively carbonation and sticky finish. O: Good flavor balance here. Some roast, some sweet, some fruit...Not too strong. I like it.

2 week old pint can A: Pours very clear medium gold with a loose crackling head of off white. Fair retention and spotty lace. S: Muted scent of sweet citrus and sweet bread or lemon cake. T: Expected sweet but it's quite bitter. Woody toasty malts with plenty of pithy hop bitterness. Not terribly lemony but quite zesty with a bit more tart lemon to finish. M: Light and crisply carbonated with a light amount of rough resin. O: This is good but I guess I expected a lemon bomb. Worth a try.

2 month old bomber A: Poured black with a thin tan head that fell fairly quickly to a ring. S: Light roast, bitter chocolate and faint smoke. T: Tart fruit notes emerge from a roasty background to dominate. Whether citrus, berry or cherry/stonefruit this is surprisingly and pleasantly fruity with light smokey aftertaste. Smoke is very subtle. M: A good amount of carbonation lends a light body and it finishes clean. O: Not quite what I expect from a smoked porter but quite enjoyable.

3 week old can A: Very cloudy dull yellow with a short head. Fair retention and patchy lace. S: Citrus and tropical fruits. Grapefruit, lemon, peach and pineapple. Light honey. T: Pretty bitter with strong grapefruit pith and lemon/lime. A little pineapple astringency and biscuity malt. M: High level of soft carbonation. Light and airy body and clean finish. O: Very tasty with a nice texture and no noticeable hop burn. Lowish ABV. I'd buy again.
