Whetstone: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is loads of dank citrus a biscuity malts. Taste is nice and bitter but it is also quite bright. Very well balanced and very tasty. Easily the best i had of theirs.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a white foam crown. This is impressive stuff. The aroma is great, fresh and vibrant, with lots of pithy citrus, grapefruit. Balanced flavor with modest sweetness, dry pale malts, biscuits, more pithy grapefruit, other clean citrus fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Clean, fresh and balanced on the finish, juicy and citrusy. Wow. Nicely done Whetstone Station. Excellent.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours lightly unclear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Nice beer, with simple pale malts, moderate dryness, light cereal and a bit of lemon rind. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes well with further pale bread, mild bitter hay, some lemony hops. Very decent.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. A good ashy stout, with reasonable balance, sturdy roast, bitter cocoa. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Feels good. Finishes with lingering ashy roast, scorched earth and baking cocoa. Very nice.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy amber-brown with a thick, creamy tan head. Pretty tasty, with some toasted bread, light toffee, hints of coffee and dried fruits. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. More toasted malts in the finish with accents of earthy coffee. Good.

Pitch black. Classic stout nose. Chocolate, ash and charcoal. Mouthfeel is really good. Really creamy, no booziness. Chocolate throughout. Thin taste

Hazy orange 1 finger creamy head. Smells like juicy simcoe amarillo and citra. Taste is huge bitterness, mild juicy grapefruit. Incredibly astringent. Way too bitter. Creamy mouthfeel. Like chewing on spruce tips.

Lightly hazy black beer with a small, light beige head that recedes to cover.
Dark malts mix with citrusy hops in the nose to produce a good rendition of an orange flavored coffee, while the oak chips or barrel or whatever they use contribute a good toasty, very mildly buttery note that helps overshadow the hops, lending more of a porter-like feel to this beer. No tacky resins or huge alpha acid presence here.
Slightly hoppier in flavor, though the oak helps take some of the focus off of that, adding vanilla, touches of rum-like notes and plenty of toasted notes that mingle with the moderately roasty, rather chocolatey malt flavors. Light to moderate carbonation, mostly tight and a slightly oily texture make it easy drinking, while no alcohol or harsh bitterness persists on the finish. Fruitier as it warms. Nice! Good restraint on the barrel character and love to see the continued lack of overhopping in all of these guys beers.

Cocoa-brown body has some maroon highlights and a beige head that is small, showing moderate retention. Clarity seems to be pretty high for a stout.
Liquorous-like nose has almost a vanilla extract-like note coupled with some tartness and bitter chocolate. Nicely dry. Roastiness is rather subdued being on nitro, as is the aroma in general, of course.
Sweet, velvety chocolate notes are immediately quite sweet and rich but are then quickly balanced by an acidic, bitter chocolate note and some dusty cocoa and vanilla notes. Banana esters and of course a lightly sweet lactose flavor sit on the end. Watery from the nitrogen, with an oily texture from the roast. Donβt love sweet stouts on nitro. This oneβs not intensely sweet or anything, but the balancing roastiness is too sharp and acidic which really goes nowhere with the watery palate. Some tighter, stronger carbonation would have really benefited the beer, but I know itβs pretty "traditional" to do stouts on nitro when you can (itβs not, actually, but people just love their nitro, I guess).

Bright lemon-lime bronze colored beer is moderately hazy with a full white head that is well-retained.
Citrus in the nose is crisp and bright, with spiciness and almost a lime zest-like note. The wheat softens its bite nicely and there is no alcohol noted nor flaws whatsoever. Touch of earthy yeast and mineral character, but itβs all hops here, for the most part.
Bitterness up front is lemon-like with a touch of light sweetness from the malts to balance and a very soft texture from the wheat broken up slightly by the ample carbonation. Chewy, creamy, nutty wheat is flavorful (as flavorful as wheat gets, I guess) and the beer comes off quite rustic, despite being a pretty straightforward hoppy wheat ale. Hops are light on the acidity, thankfully but very full of flavor, adding some light grapefruit and floral notes. Quite juicy. I think I had 3 pints of this. Excellent beer.
