Can, medium bubbly head, hazy red colour with a slight purple hue, fruit vinegar, some berries, a bit of plaster, almond, hint of bitterness, light to medium berry sourness. Nice and enjoyable.

On tap at Hinesburgh Public House on 10/07/2018.
Appearance: ruddy dark yellow to cloudy orange color with a bar pour's kind of slim white foamy head which dissipated into oblivion and didn't bother to leave any lace
Aroma: sweet and tart strawberry whiffs; bitter rhubarb with sly tartness to it, lighter salty tones
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a sweet to tart and slightly bitter sort of way with the salty notes coming in a bit stronger here than in the aroma; finishes tart, sweet with strawberry-ish vibes & a speck of sweet wheat
Texture: light to medium bodied; wants to be sessionable but seemed to want to come close to being sipped; slightly smooth as some tart to sour-ish accents enact light harsh character to the tongue but it just seems super faint
Overall: I say nice find on tap as it hit the spot that day and this would be one I would frequent again.

Appearance: semi-hazy orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated at a good pace and left a little bit of lace
Aroma: muted mixed citrusy tones with muted piney hop tones; stiff malty backbone
Flavor: copies the prior noted aromas in a bitter sort of way; finishes fairly bitter and non-expressive
Texture: light to medium bodied; not really sessionable or a sipper; not really smooth along the tongue - astringency seems to guide the tongue; the carb seemed fine though
Overall: I think the rooster caved on his crowing - makes me wonder if they should retire this one too.

Appearance: dark amber to mahogany color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: earthy to piney hops with a huge caramel/toffee malt backbone but seemed pretty muted all around
Flavor: tried to mesh the prior noted aromas to some sort of quality but seems to just come across pretty bitter and flabby; finishes pretty dry and bitter
Texture: light to medium bodied; can't really tell if this is a sipper or sessionable; not very smooth at all - gets pretty astringent to the tongue; the carb seems fine
Overall: I can see why they retired this and I hope they don't bring it out of retirement, I guess it lives up to it's name, though (wink wink).

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: glossy copper color with a little bit of transparency and a four finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some grassy to mixed citrusy hop tones up front with a muted piney hop tone underneath; bready malty backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to an extent in a semi-sweet to slightly bittersweet sort of way; finishes semi-dry with a light mixed citrusy hop note
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness and a little bit of hop bitterness assertiveness - nothing overly the top, just noticeable
Overall: it's an alright IPL, maybe look at the hop use in the aroma and get them to act more expressive.

Aroma: subtle mixed citrusy to lemony and muted pineapple-y tones with a mellow biscuity malt tone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a semi-sweet to earthy and fruity conglomeration; finishes somewhat citrusy and earthy
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness but a bit higher than expected carb seems to be popping against the tongue; the hop bitterness assertiveness seems on par
Overall: not a bad IPL - maybe some of the hops needs a bit of push to be slightly more expressive and pull down some of the carb so I don't think I'm drinking a hard seltzer and this might be a way better beer.

Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a thin cap of a khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely but didn't leave much lace
Aroma: big chocolatey malts; delicate roast, light notes of black coffee-ish whiffs; light sweet wafery malty scents
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to subtle roasty quality; finishes chocolatey sweet
Texture: medium bodied; leaning to being a sipper a bit; pretty smooth along the tongue; good carb
Overall: pretty nicely done stout I think I could come back to.

Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet funky to sweet floral coupled by a sour to tart green apple character sliding in for balance; finishes semi-sour with a green apple tart quality
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some smoothness but also a speck of sour funky tones nicking the tongue
Overall: not bad sour ale, I might be able to come back to this.

Aroma: sweet peachy tones with some freshly cut grass and some light lemony hop tones; light malty tones underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to light spicy quality; finishes about the same with a touch of dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; pretty good smoothness and nothing anywhere distracting
Overall: nice enough as a Spring or Summer backyard session beer

Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to light spicy arrangement; finishes leaning into the orange peel and sweet citrusy aspects
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness with a little bit of coriander punching the tongue but it's mostly pretty faint
Overall: Stone Corral calls it a witbier, well, it's not bad, though to me I don't see it as a true Belgian witbier, it's just a nice beer to have possibly as a post yard work beer.
