Bottle (RBESG Pilsen): Sweet grainy nose with some traces of hops, a bit cardboardy, too; straw golden, smaller, persistent white head; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; light lemony bitter-sweet finish. Well drinkable....

Bottled. Hazy ambery brown colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is plum, raisins, sweet malts and mild notes of syrup. flavour is malty, quit plummy and also has some bitterness and earth towards the finish.

Bottle at the RBESG08 Grand Tasting. Dark brown, dusty malty aroma. Syrupy malt in mouth. Dusty malt on finish. Not great, but pretty inoffensive.

Bottled at RBESG. Clear pale golden, average head. Buttery nose. Sweet and grainy with some grassy hops and buttery malt. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel and average bitterness. A good, pilsnerish lager.

Bottled at RBESG. Nut brown, creamy head. Evident caramel aroma. Sweet and fruity with medium body and rather soft mouthfeel. The caramelly malt is balanced by salty grassy hops. Quite bitter finish.

RBESG2008: 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and pale yellow with a creamy white head. Light cornish and dry cardboard note. Grassy flavour with a solid bitterness coming through and a dry cornish flavour to the finish. Ends dry and grassy.

RBESG2008: 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a creamy tan head. Dry breadish malt aroma, mild spiced. Flavour is chocolate malt, light spiced and medium dry bitter finish. Ends light bitter and light spiced with a mild alcohol finish.

26/10 0.33 l bottle (thanks Doggythedog for the tip). Poured deep clear reddish body with medium creamy ebony head. Quite weak and sourish aroma...a bit bready...huh...flavor sweetish, bitterish, everything quite watery with some metallicity. Some fruitiness might be here but very little. Low carbonation. Finish is quite short and watery. Why such a beer from Licanka? Blah...
