Back in 2005 this was a popular beer amongst the alternative culture. Pale yellow with lasting small white head. Hay and dried grass aroma. Mediocre grain taste gets better due to malty character of the beer, some flowery aroma, too. Not as carbonated as other mediocre lagers, malty finish. Ok.

Sour milk chocolate. Not so well balanced. Unappealing and def didn’t think it was an Ocktoberfest.

24th Jan 2015: shared bottle at the Cotteridge Wine meet. This was one of the last beers to reach me on the day, so my taste buds were shot but my notes claim it looked like a lager (golden, clean and bright, with a white fading head). It was sweet, too sweet for me. Needed a clean, hoppy lager to cleanse my palate, this didn’t do that for me!

Bottle 0,5l. Clear, light golden colored beer. Aroma of malt, hops, little sour. Flavor is smooth, light sweet, some malt tones, finish is grainy and light bitter. Quite good, for a pale lager.
