Bottle at home. Almost clear golden with fizzy white head. Bread crust, lots of Nevel funk, caramel, spruce, bitter herbs, lemon juice, juniper, light herbal tea. It's decent sour, more so than most other Nevel beers. Over light sweet. There's some earthy roasted bitgerness in the aftertase. Medium bodied. Not bad at all.

Bottle shared. Clear golden. Quite dry, with soft fruit. This batch seems a bit more dry then earlier ones, but otherwise great.

Shared bottle @ Borger. Unclear deep reddish golden body under a light, white head. Aroma of funky red berries with a oaky touch. Taste is acidic red berries, mild funk and bitter lemon. Nice.

(Draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 16 Aug 2025) Hazy brownish amber colour with brief head. Fruity nose with notes of oak wood, dried fruit and hints of vinegar. Fruity, tart taste with oak wood, vinegar, dried fruit, caramel, spices and yeast. Hardly any bitterness. Almost full body, with a slight sweetness. Tart, woody and complex. Interesting. Very nice.

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025. Thanks Maakun for this. One of, if not THE, last Nevel beer released. Juicy kiwi citrus.. wild sour edge.. nice, probably one of the best I've tried from Nevel.

Bottle pour at Dutch Taproom. Pours murky yellow-gold with a white head. Musty barrels, vinous, earthy wild yeast on the nose. Flavour musty, woody barrels, heaps of vinous notes, some acidity, bitter finish. Fantastic wild ale with great barrel character.
