Bottle. Hazy golden pour. Aroma of lots of malt, orange, yeast esters, oak and herbal hop. Taste has creamy orange zest, oak, vanilla, rich malt, little booze, yeast esters and bitter herbal hop. Quite dense. The oak and bitter hops make it a bit different from most tripels. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Nutty, roasty, dark malty and yeasty fruity, minimally vinous aroma, hints of dried fruit, a minimally tannic, oaky touch, smoky overtones. Taste is slightly smoky malty, minimally tannic, oaky and yeasty fruity, chocolately dark malty basis with subtle sweetness, hints of salami, raisin; lingering, sweet-ish and tart-ish finish with a touch of lemon and chocolate. Watery texture, minimally dry and chewy palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. A bit weird, muddled, nice smoky touch though - OK.

Bottle. Color: Black, mocha head. Aroma: Leather, roasted malt, sour dark cherries, peat hints. Taste: Dark tart and sweetih cherries, leathery wild yeast funk, peat, some wood and subtle roasted malt notes. Moderate to over moderate tart, moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Above medium body, below average carbonation. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Very nice complexity and balance. Great wild beer. Going towards a peated version of a Flemish Red.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before November 2022. Black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Intensely fruity, slightly sweetish-malty aroma of tropical fruits, some coconut, light blueberry and a touch of caramel. Moderately sweet, quite roasty, gently fruity taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, tropical fruits, some blueberry and traces of coconut, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, slightly earthy finish with a gentle hop burn. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Fairly intense BIPA, very roasty and hoppy, nice!
