50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 06/2013
Aroma has lots of exotic fruits, some biscuits and hints of hay. Flavour is somewhat hoppy with exotic fruits, peach and some hay. Quite fruity for a golden ale. And quite good for this ABV.

BBE May 2013 - Pours pitch black with a nice smooth light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, chocolate, licorice, some fruity hops and hints of berries. Taste is quite heavily roasted with some chocolate and coffee notes and some citrusy, fruity hoppiness. Finish is slightly salty and fruity with some light roasty coffee notes. Nice, well balanced, roasty black IPA.

Cask at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Hazy golden. Aroma of kiwi fruits and mango. Mid dry with light body and soft, firm mouthfeel. Lovely elegant light malt profile that hides under a wealth of tropical fruit hops. Long bitter finish. Hugely drinkable hoppy light ale.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants. It pours hazy gold, with medium white head. The nose is fresh pine, strong passion fruit, grapefruit, orange, peach, honey and a hint of caramel sweetness. Wow this stuff smells amazing. The taste is zesty citrus, grapefruit, waxy lemon, sherbet, perfumed hop, resin and biscuit, with a long, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good balance. A great beer to celebrate IPA day with!
