Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, grapefruit, pine - wood, spruce, dark malt, roasted, hoppy, dry, licorice - wood. 330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Perfumed, piney, fruity and minimally floral, hoppy aroma, notes of tangerine, orange, orange zest. a touch of petals. Taste is dry, fruity, slightly piney and minimally floral hoppy, pale malty background, remnants of caramel, notes of tangerine, orange and orange zest, hints of petals. Bone-dry, clean, plain-vanilla A(u)PA.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with white head. Aroma of sweat, citrus, lemons and orange peel. Taste sweet and fruity, excellenty balanced with hops. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

Bottle from beer[malade]. Very dark brown with huge beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate. Roasted malt, chocolate, light vanilla coffe sourness in taste. Notes of smoke in finish.

Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal, des-16: kklar korngylden med ok hvitt skum. Lys malt, urter, gress og visne sitroner i aroma og smak, et ordentlig uforfriskningsøl. Men jeg var visst den eneste som ikke likte dette.

Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal, des-16: nesten helt svart med flott skum som varer. Citrus, brent malt, appelsinsjokolader i aroma og smak. Andre ord som nevnes rundt bordet er trekull, aske, tjære, lakris, furunål. Et interessant og meget smaksrikt øl.
