Bottle shared in London - sourced from a trade. Pours clear muted red with a foamy white head. Novel stuff, minimal apple character to be fair, some lightly tangy berries, moderate bitterness, light vanilla notes. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Soft warmth in the finish, more dried berries in the finish, a little oxidation. Pretty tasty.

$8.99 bottle, middle Kroger in Charlottesville. Pours slightly hazy reddish. Aroma is fresh berry, apple, barrel. Flavor is slightly sweet berry, bourbon, apple, green leaf, alcohol, barrel. Very enjoyable.

$8.99 bottle from the middle Kroger in Charlottesville. MaryAnn said she just got these in after they came to do a tasting, so not sure if the other Krogers in town will have them. Pours pale golden, slight hazy, some carbonation. Aroma is slightly sweet apple, dust, earth, barrel. Flavor is tart apple, funk, bourbon, earth, wood. Good for the most part... the bourbon flavor is perhaps a little too strong in the light cider.

$10.99 bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours golden, lots of bubbles, dusting of a head. Aroma is apple, somewhat sweet, but not artificial in the slightest. Flavor is tart apple, light earth, light tonic water. Fine but uninspiring.

$11.99 bottle as Barrel Heritage Dry Aged Hard Cider (research showed it's the same product as Hawk Knob Appalachian Classic Hard Cider - Bourbon Barrel Aged). Pours pale golden with good carbonation, no head. Aroma is slightly sweet apple, light barrel, light vanilla. Flavor is tart apple, immediate barrel after the apple, light vanilla, light earth. Flavor ends abruptly and you're left with a gluey finish. Wish the apple lingered a bit more because the initial flavor(s) are quite nice.

Bottle. Barnyard, light gin, sour apple aroma. Pale yellow with minimal head. Lightly sweet apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, wood flavor. Light body - hint of gin in the finish. Pleasant - gin influence light but nice.
