Bottle: Clear gold, no head. Aroma of old apples, peels, alcohol. Taste is woody.....apples, honey..... Some alcohol sting, harshness and bittering.....but fairly mild and neutral, overall. Pretty nice.

Bottle (from Weihenweizen - labeled Dry Cherry). Bourbon, vanilla, cherry, apple, and dry grass aroma. Reddish amber color. Minimally sweet cherry, bourbon, apple, and moderately bitter dry grass flavor. Okay body. Not bad.

Bottle. Light barnyard, lemon, apple, and hay aroma. Golden yellow. Dry, lightly funky apple, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body. Not as much funkiness or sourness as I would expected from wild fermentation.

750 ml glass bottle poured into a white wine glass. Clear golden, medium body, and no carbonation. Tastes like dry white wine, some bourbon, and hints of oak. Hoped for more apples or even more honey, not much flavor here.

Bottle at rpsg Grand tasting. Yes another West Virginia tick. Pours out a light pink color topped with a small white head. Nose is nice berries some sweetness a little vanilla and a touch of Apple. Taste is more of the nice berries little apple and nice sweet sugar note.

Bottle at RBSG. Pours a clear reddish purple color. A big fruity nose, sugary berries and vanilla. Sweet, vanilla, berries, sweet apples. The bourbon is light, but nice. Solid.

Bottle at RBSG 17 Grand Tasting, thanks to Jeremy. Light, clear violet, head is more pink than purple. Berries on the aroma, flowery scents too, apples. Elderberries take off some of the cider tartness, nice fruity flavors, light considering the ABV. Not much evidence of the BBA.
