Bottle:Clear, ruby-amber coloured with a small off-white head, light dryish toasty-fruity nose; light and mild sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied; still lingering sweetish caramelly and toasty finish, a subtle fruitiness included. Not an exciting, but a well cafted and well drinkable Altbier…

Not too bad, but nothing great. --> 8/12/8/8

The beer starts mild and smooth, but less aroma than the Erzquell-Pils from the same brewery. The smoothness is the same, so the harsh and sharp bitter ending, which is a lot smoother here at the less aromatic Kölsch. Easy drinkable, slightly sweet. Not much aroma.
Typical Kölsch, but I don’t like the shark bitter ending. It tastes a bit cheap… --> 8/12/8/8

The beer starts mild and smooth. Very smooth. Slightly sourish in the end and highly drinkable. The bitterness is a bit sharp. But is mainly covered by the smooth character and the slightly malty hints. The aftertaste is slightly sweet-smooth with a sharp and pushy bitterness in the end.
interesting brew, but this harp bitterness without andy other flavour doesn’t really fit in. --> 9/12/9/9
