Bottle at home. Opaque dark brown color, medium sized light brown head. Aroma is malts, raisins. Flavor is malts, raisins, leaves, boozy (though not more than it should be), medium bitterness. Quite alright.

0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', bottled in May 2025. A bit hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-malty, quite yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, clove, honey and vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy taste of banana, clove, honey and vanilla, followed by a medium long, rather yeasty-spicy, moderately bitter and a little boozy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Weizenbock with quite some bite.

Flavor is bourbon and tartness from the wood, if you like a strong black tart ba imp stout this one is not bad . Quite co.plex

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Ripe fruit aroma with sugary banana, malt, stewed fruit, yeast, plum. Moderate to medium sweet with low bitterness. Medium body. Quite nice.

Brune foncée/ambrée, col beige café au lait.
Arôme sur un bouquet indiquant de suite que cela traite d'une bière ne barrique, le PX est bien là, avec un côté Oloroso/SHerry fortifié contenant pas mal de fruits noirs et secs, cela aussi dû à la abse maltée de ce gros porter. Pointe de biscuité avec une touche épicée de cannelle et de café plutôt mitigée en fin de bouche.
Palais met de suite le côté PX en avant avec un apport fruité noirs/secs - dattes - figues et pruneaux avec une petite note maltée très anglaise dna ssa base maiq qui se ressent tout au long de cette dégustation. Note de cannelle délicate voire un peu trop en retrait et ce même après que la bière gagne en t° ambiante. Amertume latente liée au café avec une sensation un peu de soja - madérisé du PX. Je retrouve aussi un élément de biscuité-caramel avec une amertume noble anglaise franche oscillant sur le terreux et le fleuri. In fine, le volet mis en avant du café et de la cannelle est trop en retrait. Cepenant, le tout reste plaisant à boire.

0,44 boks fra dagsutflukt på egen hånd til Malaga: uklar korngul med fint skum som varer. Citrusfrukter og steinfrukter i en velsmakende maltkropp, halvtørr avslutning med utpreget mersmak. Ikke noe dikkedarer med lactose, mango eller andre ufyseligheter. Crisp as a cracker with a slightly peppery finish, og særdeles velegnet til selvpleie av kognitive ferdigheter.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is piney hop aroma, fairly bitter, picking up citrus, pine resin, some grapefruit, pale malt. Long bitter finish. Very nice, classic bitterness and pine.
