Tap @ 1st Anniversary Kaapse Festival. Deep golden color. Raisinny grassy hops and soft tropical fruit in the aroma. Tealeaves, grass, raisin and heaps of tropical fruit in the flavor. Malty sweet but also quite complex. Lovely!

Tap @ 1st Anniversary Kaapse Brouwers Festival. Almost black. Shy maltaroma. Malty sweet roasty salty flavor with a hint of licorice. Slightly alcoholic. Decent beer, but this brewery can do better. (3.2) Bottle. Almost black. Roast and cacao in the aroma, malty sweet, roasty alcoholic flavor with cacao and salted licorice. Full bodied. Nice.

Bottle. Golden color, cloudy. Citrus in the slightly herbal aroma. Dry. Tropical fruit. Vegetable notes. Herbal. Brett possibly. Not really sour, as the label promised. Just a bit maybe. Not unpleasant.
