Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brown with a large creamy tan head. Aroma is like dark toffee. Med body or so. Flavor is dry and malty - like dark toffee, but not sweet. Nice.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma has citrus and other tropicals. Med body. Flavor is quite amazing. It's very dry and more than moderately bitter. It has a bite. Citrus, earth, melon and dank notes. Complex. Malt isn't discernible for me. Gotta be there tho, or this wouldn't taste so good. Earthy danky bitterness goes on and on.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours clear gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is citrus with a little breadiness in support. Maybe med body. Flavor has a touch of pine and some earthy/spiciness. Seems a bit different from the standard kolsch.
