12oz bottle. Brown-black body. Big, frothy, beige head. Kind of an oily odd aroma, hints of infection? Its not overboard, but the infected side is there, adding some unwanted hot, sour tones. Middle of the road beyond that. Disappointing, especially at the premium price point all these new breweries are charging.

Draft pour at Old Bust Head Brewing. Poured a nearly pitch black color, virtually totally opaque, except for that I was sitting in an area where it the table was blasted with ful sunlight, so it really comes out looking more like a dark cola color, with ruby edges. Aroma started off with a little nutmeg, cinnamon. Something else I can't quite put my finger on that kind of fits the holiday name, maybe it's just the particular type of cinnamon. Roast. Chocolate. Light festive spirit here.

Draft pour at Old Bust Head Brewing. Poured a nearly pitch black color, virtually totally opaque, except for that I was sitting in an area where it the table was blasted with ful sunlight, so it really comes out looking more like a dark cola color, with ruby edges. Aroma was a load of coffee, roasted malts. Flavor was roasted, creamy chocolate. Smooth and really pleasant. Coconut really comes through in this one. Very nice.

Draft pour at Old Bust Head Brewing. Poured a clear, orange color with a small white head, nice lacing. Aroma was pretty muted, light dried apricot. Flavor was light apricot juice, some herbal notes, dried apricot and apricot pit bitterness at the end.

Draft pour at Old Bust Head Brewing. Poured a clear, slightly hazy kind of light yellow color with just a tiny white head. Aroma and flavor was juicy, like really nice tropical fruit, citrus. Pleasant. Easy to drink, smooth. Mild herbal bitterness, with a little creamy character.
