Ultra clear and oddly white tinted, super pale coloured body that shows a faint sliver of gold, but this is clear, with a faint head that fades immediately to nothing and has a pure white glow. Aroma of apples, lemons, citrus, grain, hay, yeast, bread and way more appples - just about nothing interesting going on in the nose - definitely no watermelon and even further from anything 'saison-y' or yeastie here. Ultra-light bodied; Dry flavour with a faint bit of grass (perhaps some saison notes, if you will) with a hay, herbal and distinctly green apple flavour that shows just about nothing else additional, and no sweetness at all from this is evident. Aftertaste is dry, grassy and showing the apple notes, with just about nothing else. Overall, a pretty poor cider that I wanted to like and want to have something distinct about this, in terms of yeast or fruits, but it's plain - mild and underwhelming throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Trader Joe's in Bailey's Crossroads (Falls Church), Virginia on 14-September-2018 for US$3,13 sampled at home in Washington on 19-March-2019.

Vinous grape nose with cherry hints. Clear red with a pinkish hue. Dry and slightly tart apple, rosehip, vinous. Light body, easy carbonation.

Poured a light yellow color, light neon hues? Small bubbly head that dissipated quickly. Light carbonation. Aroma was light apples, citrus hop notes. Nice apple flavor with a decent hop character. 5/1/2016

Poured a light yellow color, with more of a bubbly head atop that dissipated quickly. Some carbonation here. Aroma was light apples, nice floral and citrus hop notes. Nice apple flavor with a decent hop character to it. 1/19/2013

Clear pink coloured body with a non-existant pure white head that shows no movement at all. Aroma of oranges, light apples, hay, light grass, pure caster sugar and perhaps the slightest bit of tart cranberries. Super light-bodied; Grainy and mild apple and tart cranberry notes with a tiny bit of alcohol and punch behind it, but barely anything and only a dash of sweetness showing towards the end, despite all the fruit elements - this is all dry, soft and mild. Aftertaste is dry and slightly soured with the cranberry flavours dominating over the apples with some orange notes, a touch of caster sugar and honey and only a touch of the yeast noticeable at the end - very mild and subdued throughout, but especially at the end. Overall, a pretty mild drink, and considering it's a cider, even more so - this is ultra mild and subdued and only showing the apple, cranberry and dry notes throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 29-October-2018 for US$3,49 sampled at home in Washington on 07-January-2019.

Bottled sample at the cidery. Clear copper. Aroma of sweet apple, vanilla, sharp tart apple, booze. Taste is tart apple, brown sugar, vanilla, booze. Medium bodied, hot. Could probably benefit from some aging.

Keg at the downtown tasting room. Hazy pale gold. Aroma of tart dry apples, hints of Brett. Taste is pale earthy apples, hint of Brett. Medium bodied. Good but the brett is too delicate and needs time to develop.
