On tap @ Tree Rock. Ugly Noble goblet. Mostly clear, watermelon or maybe hibiscus, pour. Smell is flowery, soft, sugary, melon, candy, too sweet. Taste is watermelon, rose, faint ginger, green & underripe fruit, orange acidity, apple tea. Strong carbonation, stronger than list abv, otherwise very thin, very dry. Not bad.

Bottle from Appalachian. Passed on it a few times because of price. Simply ran out of things to try. Still not desperate enough to fork over $40 for that blueberry spaceship bullshit. Stemless wine glass @home. Clear, pretty, dark garnet body with much lighter strawberry highlights. Creamy(?) berry jam nose. Earthy & very faintly wild. Sharp apples. Subtle wood. Taste is astringent grape skins with metallic undertones. Bittersharp apples, strong acidity, more core than definitive flavor. Grapes push through, focusing on fresh, juicy, under-ripe berry flavor. This is all about the grapes. Finish is tart & earthy/yeasty & minerally, with a noticeable booziness. Okay, mellow carbonation. Bitterness was almost Aspirin-y at times. Texture was inconsistent. Strong. I've had worse Beaujolais! This is rough but okay.

Pounder from Appalachian. Had to buy four of these because they are unreasonable. Cheers. Pint glass @home. Crystal clear, cool, pale gold MGD lager. Nice sizzle. Smells of menthol, mint & pineapple atop the basic bitter apple base. Taste is a watery concoction of bitter apples, toothpaste, bitter lettuce, rose, gum & seriously lingering orange peel oil. Not tart, moderate acidity. Have had way better hopped ciders. Very gutted & empty, like a seltzer. Inoffensive. A 5% cider is usually bullshit. Usually. Brand is hit or miss. Meh.

4-pack from Whole Paycheck. Mojito glass @home. Tall, fizzy, quickly crashing head. Dusty(more so murky), pale straw gold. Nose is sulfur, watermelon rind & an unidentifiable sweetness. Taste is predominately saline & dead yeast, with a back-end of bitter apple core & watermelon rind. Sparkly, chewy, acidic & lacking solid tartness, noticeable booze. Brand seems very hit or miss.

On tap @TreeRock. Short pour. Clear, generic, pale, gold, no head. Bitter, buttery nose. Bittersweet apples & skin, bright, moderate tartness, mellow acidity, fresh oak, menthol, juicy, not absolutely dry. Bitter, boozy finish. Quite thin, filtered, well carbonated, hot. Tasty.

Sixer from Whole Paycheck. Low ABVs are my jam. Lo-Ball glass @home. Clear, pale gold pour. Smells soft & mellow. Very faint apple, more-so banana esters, some caramel, cheap distillation. Taste is dust, watered down pineapple & apple juices, caramel, malic acid, yeast. Soda burn. Dry. This is watery leftovers. They make better cider than this. $11/6er should have spelt that out for me.

On tap @TreeRock. goblet. 8.4% edition. Pretty clear, pale cranberry brew with a wisp of head. Grassy, nondescript scent. Maybe a little melon. Bold, acidic, pithy, slightly soapy, bitter apple & hard yellow grapefruit skin. Excellent integration. Dry, yet juicy. Dusty finish. Mellow carbonation. Subtle ABV for the list. Love the pithy feel. Good.
