On tap @TreeRock. Goblet. Clear, filtered, golden brew with a wisp of head. Mellow, quiet apples with a slight guava warmth. Not as tart or sour as expected, but there's a little pinch. Dusty, plum-y richness. The guava hints with a unexpected creamy sweetness laced around caramel(oxidation?). Apples start to peek around the corner once it warms a tad. Basic baking apples, a little thin on flavor besides skin & seed. Salt is on the tongue in between sips. Soft, subtle carbonation. Abv feels a touch stronger than the 5.5 listed. Thin, semi sweet leaning dry. Overall, not as cool as expected. Okay.

Pint can, WW. Clear pale gold with a hint of reddishness in it. Carbonation but no head. Apple, mixed fruit nose. Smells dry. Dry apple, including skins, lemon or lime juice, hint of salt, other random fruitiness that I can't actually discern. Tart, not great.

$3.95 pint can, WW. Pale gold, clear, no head, light carbonation evident. Dry apple, earth, dust, light mint nose. Bittersweet, almost tart apple, green leaf, hint of mint, earth. Decent, but not overly memorable.

Bottle from Wolf Brew in Brevard, NC. 8.4%abv. Pint glass @ home. Pressed back & deleted my first rate. :/ Bud Light pour. Subtle, soft, bittersharp apples, dry yeast, talcum powder, & melon nose. Cola level acid upfront. Pure lemon juice, residual yeast, plum pits, savory salad greens, neutral finish. As it warms you get a little of a macerated apple core/skin flavor. Boozy. Strong carbonation, thin, sharp, dry, pithy. Needs a share. Harsh. Good.

Pint can from Beer Run, 1/14/21. Slightly hazy gold, thin fizzy head, fair retention. Aroma of sweet and dry apple, earthy hops. Taste is dry apple, earth, a sweet finish. Not sure it counts as a dry cider, especially for a cider from Virginia, but it's pretty nice.
