Very crisp and super subdued golden coloured body with an almost ghostly white glow, with a thinnish, super fast-dying white head, expected, of course. Light apple and brutish, dry grassy notes dominate with no real sweetness here in the nose nor any complexity, which again is acceptable here. Light-bodied; Very crisp and dry apple and funky yeastie/bready notes dominate without much else aside from a light herbal and perfumey quality and some tart lemon notes at the endn but very easy-drinking and simplistic. Aftertaste shows a pretty soft apple flavour as well, with nothing really coming out that is complex or flavourful to help this out as it sort of dies off after a few seconds of a light apple note with yeast. Overall, a very subdued, dry, crisp and inoffensive cider with limited notes across the board, even in terms of apples, sweetness and flaovur profile. Still decent to try, and if for soe reason you are reading this and looking for a subdued, light cider, this is a good bet for you! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from The Big Meadows Wayside in Shenandoah National Park ('Luray'), Virginia on 19-June-2022 for US$1,79 sampled while hiking a day later with my wife and three kids in Shenandoah National Park on 20-June-2022.

On tap @ Tree Rock. Ugly Noble goblet. Mostly clear, watermelon or maybe hibiscus, pour. Smell is flowery, soft, sugary, melon, candy, too sweet. Taste is watermelon, rose, faint ginger, green & underripe fruit, orange acidity, apple tea. Strong carbonation, stronger than list abv, otherwise very thin, very dry. Not bad.

Bottle from Appalachian. Passed on it a few times because of price. Simply ran out of things to try. Still not desperate enough to fork over $40 for that blueberry spaceship bullshit. Stemless wine glass @home. Clear, pretty, dark garnet body with much lighter strawberry highlights. Creamy(?) berry jam nose. Earthy & very faintly wild. Sharp apples. Subtle wood. Taste is astringent grape skins with metallic undertones. Bittersharp apples, strong acidity, more core than definitive flavor. Grapes push through, focusing on fresh, juicy, under-ripe berry flavor. This is all about the grapes. Finish is tart & earthy/yeasty & minerally, with a noticeable booziness. Okay, mellow carbonation. Bitterness was almost Aspirin-y at times. Texture was inconsistent. Strong. I've had worse Beaujolais! This is rough but okay.
