Can from giant eagle market in robinson. Pour is super clear pale. First nose is a little off, maybe some vegetable farm in there? Not sure; its just sort of unusual. Taste is a little mild and some of that unique nose does carry over to the taste. Almost decent level of carbonation but it does lean towards the flat side. Yepa, this is a little different for pittsburgh brewing. A little bit of an odd hop veggie feeling in the middle. Overall, a rather well behaved, if not typical, feeling for a burgh based helles; something different from the usual domestic attempts at the euro dort style. I'm just glad to see that pgh brewing opened up a new craft based brewery in creighton.

This stuff is really good. I had a really descriptive previous rating but RB deleted it for some reason. It actually does taste like a fine well balanced mix of iced tea and beer. Very refreshing.
Solid shandy, good balance of grapefruit and beer

Caramel with a small white head that faded quickly. Aroma of egg white and iced tea. Flavor was lemon, iced tea and somewhat off. Medium finish and body.

12 oz can poured, picked up at Total Wine for pocket change. Fun to try such a classic brew. A beer that has been providing quality for longer than my home state has been a state. Cheers to that! Can actually notes Fred Koch Brewing, Rochester, NY, so not sure of this brew has gone through some geographical changes over the years. This one just crushes. It's so light that there is hardly anything possible to say about it. Pale light golden pour, soft head. Very faint aroma, paper grain in the distance. Flavor is watered down beer flavored water. Soft paper. Cool watery finish. I can be in the mood for something exceptionally simple like this from time to time.
