99 cent can from TWSP, trying to extend my night. Pale gold, white head. Nothing offensive about the aroma, mainly because there is none. Flavor is envelope glue and the envelope itself. Lightly sweet aftertaste. Why the hell would anyone drink this?

Got this scary can from JRs. Was not looking forward to this tick. After all, it says it has some artificial flavors in it. Pours clear pale from a pounder can. Smell is somewhat artificial apple, like hardtack candy. Taste is as expected, somewhat rude ass artificial apple candy with a vanilla backbone. Cannot get this. It also has a warming sensation as it goes down the gullet. Can't say I'm disjointed because I didn't expect much. I had high hopes for the Blockhouse brand but I'm afraid they are just turning into another alky laced soda pop brand. This stuff is more on the line of those kindah malt beverages, has little to do with beer, thanks. I'm going to mix the rest of this with a can of IC light to try to straighten it out a bit and make it more acceptable. Whew.

OK, look. I generally like Pittsburgh brewing beers but to call this IC Light is an insult to the rock of IC Light. How fricken rude to bastardize a respected name. This is simply a light pale beer with artificial flavors added, it is so fake it is near cloying. SO uncool. Its the balls on the barnacles at the bottom of the bombardier's barrel. First off, it looks like IC light, no color to make you think its cherry flavored. It also smells like a cheap red Popsicle. Its fizzy and tastes something like cheap red soda, but nothing like the quality flavors of Cherokee red. Typical wan-nah be accepted new fru- fru -fruity beer. Whew. Probably should be kept out of the ratings like other stupid straight up ass soda pop flavored malt beverages. The artificial sweetener in this yields a lingering unpleasant perfume like finish on each swig right to the end. Disappointing, not really beer; JMHO. I was fooled into buying the barn on a sixer of these pounder cans of near beer for $3 at JR's. Heheheh. Tick this one up to trying any untasted beer: Bleah (An interjection to expresses negative feelings. The quality of the emotion bleah is expressed as more negative than that of blah and has a slight feeling of disgust, verging on nausea.)

Pour is a crystal clean gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma is kind of corny and some dry lager malt. Flavor is a decent dry malt with no real aftertaste. something you could drink a lot of and not think about.

Crowler from tap at JR's. Mild sweet almost non-detectable perfume aroma. Pour is of little head and the color is uniquely yellow pale with an orange tint. Taste is that of an aged premium lager, hops perhaps, and some undesired sweetness. Not much co2 in this one. Smoother, but yet I know it was canned yesterday, even tho it has the same flavors as some other canned straight up ass lagers that sat out in stock for a while. Can't really tell if it has any of the original iron feel to it and I've had quite a few of those in the past; the ol-iron just does not seem to be present. I'm gonna have to try a new iron, its been years. I don't think I've had one from Latrobe yet, heheheh, how IRONIC. Then, after a new one, I can tell you a little of how they compare. Not bad, does compete with a few milder IPL's I have lately. Would never stand up to Rivertowne Always A Home Game, Helicon American Blonde Lager, Hi-Wire Lager, Helicon/Rock Bottom/Roundabout Brewery I Seen The Light or even Oranjeboom Premium Lager.

Pours yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste has watery honey Pilsen elements. Palate has much of the same. Eh.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a bright yellow gold color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet, corny and a bit perfumey. The flavor was tangy and sweet with corn, and perfume. Medium length finish. Light body.

Pours gold into a shaker. White soapy head with little retention recedes to nothing. Sweet hay aromas. Crisp with watery hay and meadow front to back.

Clear bottle. Pours a clear light gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Spotty lacing. Nice citrus aroma. A refreshing grainy taste of lemon-lime and light beer. Light body. A little club soda-like. No awards here but it's a good beach beer. Very chuggable. No surprise the hop heads here hate it.
