Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a light golden bronzed color with a bubbly head.
The aroma had some crisp citrusy hop bitterness with some light pine in the background. Light earthiness further in the background.
The flavor tried to blend the earthinss and pine to the malt character, still mostly stayed separated. Weird bready dry aftertaste, quick piney dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt fine. Appropriate bitterness for an AIPA.
Overall, pretty good AIPA worthy of having again, especially if the flavor could come together. I see potential in this one.

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a semi-clear golden to bronzed yellow color with a finger’s worth of white head. No lacing.
The aroma had some mild sweet grainy to cracker-like malt toying with some earthy and grassy hops.
The flavor was basically the same with a balanced cracker/bready balancing to earthy and grassy hop aftertaste. Quick semi-dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt right.
Overall, decent English pale ale that I could come back to if necessary.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a black color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Sly stringy lace.
The aroma moderated between some spicy rye and sweet to roasty dark and milk chocolate. Sly bitter coffee beans.
The flavor blended the spicy to the sweet and carried the roast in underneath. Quaint sweet roasty and slightly spicy aftertaste. Sly sweet to spicy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, different yet good for a stout. Still, I’d say worthy of having again.
