Bottle: Slightly hazy, deep brown/amber with a small, off-white head. Aroma of dark bread, chocolate, wood. Taste is sweet caramel and chocolate malts, dark wood, toasted grain malts. Really tasty.

Bottle: Lightly hazed golden-yellow with a small white head. Grain, lemon, slight apple aroma. Flavour is sweet and sharp grain malt with the apple notes continuing.... It made me think of a really beery cider, in fact. Even got to a bit of sour towards the finish.... Interesting and lively.

The Aromas are traditional Bavarian Hefeweizen banana wheat malt a hint tart. Flavors are exactly like nose. Average body carbonation and Finish. Nothing special here.

Woody chocolate malt and fresh hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with moderate but short lasting head. Moderately sweet chocolate malt, and mildly bitter dry wood/hay flavor. Good body. Bottle. Golden body with a frothy, white head. Aroma of toasted grain, raw grain, herbs. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery, sticky body, lively carbonation. Taste of husky grain, grass, light floral notes. So-so.

Grainy barley malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head and light effervescence. Lightly sweet lemon, barley malt, and very mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Decent.

Draft. Clear golden body with a short white head. Aroma of toasted malt, raw grain, biscuit, light lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Lightly grain aftertaste.

At the brewery. Dark amber color. minimal head. a lot of malt flavor, even for the style. Nuts. caramel sweetness and alcohol in the flavor. not as sweet as some dunkels can be.

At the brewery. hazy brown color, good caramel flavor, but carbonation is a little bit low. not as good as some of Prost's other beers.
