The Showalter family has been growing apples for over 50 years on a century-old orchard. The art of blending and pressing fresh apple cider began in 1974. Old Hill Cider is the Shenandoah Valley’s first hard cidery. Cidermaker, Shannon Showalter, crafts ciders in innovative ways that honor early American methods. By growing and carefully selecting apples that are perfect for fermenting, Showalter highlights each chosen apple varietal's character. Don't miss the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Valley when you visit the tasting room at Showalter's Orchard, home of Old Hill Cider.
The farm address is 17768 Honeyville Road in Timberville, VA. Please call or review current hours.

750ml bottle, split with a friend, originally bought at Beer Run. Poured a clear pale yellow color with not much of a head to speak of. Aroma was apple. Flavor was obviously apple, with some light earthy notes. Some light dry character. This was pretty tasty to be honest.
