Description
Nohoval Drinks Company also known as Stonewell Cider and Finnbarra Cider.
Founded by Daniel and Geraldine Emerson in 2010 the company has experienced considerable growth over the years in Ireland as Stonewell Cider and with our export brand Finnbarra Cider.
We have a small full-time team of traditional Irish cider makers here at Stonewell. Myself, Daniel, principal cider maker and apparently general run around. Géraldine, herself who keeps us on our toes! Ed joined us in 2018 and is one of our key traditional cider makers. With a great nose and palate for obtaining good blends, Ed works exceptionally hard to make sure that we as cider makers do a good job.

Bottle, as "Finnbarra Dry Irish Craft Cider". Clear yellow color with hardly any head. Aroma is apples, tart, a bit dusty. Taste is apples, rather dry and dusty, a bit tart. Rather high carbonation. Okay.

Bottle from ciderwinkel.nl, vintage 2014, 35 cl sample. Clear pale yellow color, short frothy lacing. Aroma of dry apple, bit dry oak wood, slight citrus note. Dry and sparkling, smooth apple. Definitely not sweet and mashed apples, but soft sparkling. Delicate, well balanced, good.
