500mL bottle, pours black / dark brown with a thick beige / tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, oatmeal, lactate qualities, and sweet milk chocolate. Flavour of oatmeal, milk, milk chocolate, toasted malt, nuts, and some slight metallic notes. Quite solid, enjoyable flavours, though nothing exceptional.

500mL bottle, pours an opaque dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, alcohol, brown sugar, light whiskey, and honey. Flavour of honey, whiskey, dark fruits, brown sugar and booze. Palate finishes with honeyed whiskey and phenols. ABV is hidden quite well, leaving just a slight burn on the aftertaste. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours dark brown/black with a foamy/creamy 3 finger tan head. Aroma of slightly sour chocolate. Med body. Flavor is smooth burnt malt, chocolate and a little milk sugar. Seemingly finishing a tad sour, but the chocolate and malt pretty much submerges that. Nice drink. Suddenly it seems a bit dry and almost astringent. ?

Bouteille 500ml (77/1000).
