Tastes like beef jerky or like... a dog treat. - My Wife

Received in my Press Perry shipment. Had zero knowledge that this was smokey. I love smokey stuff but this was unexpected.

Pale gold, settled, spritzy, chunky bottom.
Savory, super peat, probably too much peat, sweet earth. Melted plastic. Some overshadowed funk. Sharp pears in the background are a distraction but right back to the peat.
Tart pears, some citrus, thin skinned, endtrail astringency. Burnt jerky, burnt rubber, burnt manure sharpness. Lingering burnt plastic. Touch of sorbitol after all the smoke starts to fade. Soft smoke is great but I don't think this pairing works.
Thin, crispy, approachable base.

Bit of a hot sauce test.
