Bottle from Middle Farm Cider Centre. Opens with a bit of fizz. It pours clear pale green gold with no head. The aroma is rustic, earthy, must, barnyard, brett, pear skin and funk. The taste is crisp, firm dryness, tart, soft pear, white grape, gooseberry, floral, white wine, bright acidity, touch of sherbet, light alcohol presence and tannin with a dry finish. Medium body and a touch of carbonation. Relatively subtle, yet has a great depth of flavour. Pretty excellent. A top drawer perry.

75cl clear bottle from Middle Farm. It pours clear very pale greenish - yellow with the odd bubble or two. The aroma is soft, sweet, tangy, pear skin, farmyard, manure and dirt. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, dull sweetness, pear, apple skin, white grape, touch of acidity, earth, tannin and dirty farmyard with a dry finish. Medium and a touch of fine, prickly carbonation. Quaffable.

Polypin at Middle Farm as Broome Farm Perry, 5.5%. It pours pale greenish - yellow. The aroma is fresh, juicy, tangy pear juice and a touch of barnyard muck. The taste is dry, rather juicy, tart, pear skin, mouth - pucker, fruity, funky, fruit pie and tannins with a drying finish. Medium body, flat and smooth mouth - feel. Juicy and highly drinkable. Tasty stuff.

Bag In Box at Pigs Ear. It pours clear pale gold / yellow with no head. The aroma is musty, funky, apple skin, tannin, hint of apple cider vinegar, earth and wood. The taste is dry, tart, apple skin, white wine, gooseberry, mild astringency and leaves with a dry finish. Medium bodied affair. Very nice dry cider. Legit.

500ml bottle @ Stable Bar, Birmingham. Pours a misty gold, thin bubbly head. Aroma is good dabinett apple fruit, light must. Taste is crisp, balanced fruity medium dry cider, light farmhouse tannins, but generally a nice firm fruity cider that went well with my free (!) vegan pizza.
